A lot of people buying things they don't need with money they don't have to impress people they don't like. That is a good example of why people waste a lot of money in shopping. Another example is when people buy clothes during a discount sale just because the price looks cheaper than it was before. My shopping habits are sometimes like this and I also don't wear all of the clothes I buy. This is a problem in our modern society. One solution is to teach people (especially children) to make sure to only buy things when you need them, not want them.
