Bonjour a tous,
En anglais, je doit rédiger un article de journal et raconter tout ce qu'une personne a fait pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale et qui fait d'elle un héros.
Je l'ai d'abord écrit en français puis traduit. Mais je ne suis pas tout a fait sur du résultat.
Donc un petit coup de main ne ferai pas de mal. Voici les textes:
« John Crawford, un héros oublié de la seconde guerre mondiale »
Pour le 70eme anniversaire de la fin de la WWII, nous allons vous raconter la fabuleuse histoire de John Crawford, un survivant de cette terrible guerre.
John Crawford grandit à York, en Angleterre.
En 1940, pour ses vingt ans, il s’engage comme pilote dans les forces armées britanniques.
En 1942, il est appelé pour une mission spéciale. Il doit emmener un commando en Autriche afin de libérer Holly, une enfant de 8 ans, cousine du Premier ministre britannique Winston Churchill.
Elle est détenue dans un camp de concentration.
Hélas, leur avion sera abattu par les Nazis.
John sera le seul survivant d’un terrible crash.
Cependant, Il sera capturé sur les lieux par les Nazis, et sera envoyé au même endroit qu’Holly.
Lorsqu’il découvrit cela, John se dit qu’il devait assurer sa mission initiale.
Suite à trois semaines de préparation, il tenta une première évasion avec Holly.
Mais, ils échouèrent après trois heures de cavales.
Ils furent ensuite envoyés dans un nouveau camp, doù ils réussirent à s’évader.
Ils entamèrent une longue route jusqu’en Slovaquie, un pays allié.
En Slovaquie John contacta le gouvernement Anglais qui les rapatria.
A la fin de la guerre, il reçut la médaille militaire.
A ce jour, John âgé de 93 ans nous a dit « Je ne suis pas un héros, juste un honnête soldat. »

In 1942, he is called for a special mission. He has to take a commando in Austria to free Holly, a 8 year old child, cousin of the British Prime Minister Winston Churchill.
She is held in a concentration camp.
Unfortunately, their plane was shot down by the Nazis.
John was the only survivor of a terrible crash.
However, He was captured on the scene by the Nazis, and he was sent to the same place as Holly.
When he discovered this, John thought he had to insure his initial mission.
After three weeks of preparation, he tried a first escape.
But, they failed following three hours of run.
They were then sent to a new camp, where they managed to escape.
They began a long road to Slovakia, an allied country.
In Slovakia, John contacted the English government which repatriated them.
At the end of the war, he receiveded the Victoria Cross.
To date, John, who is 93 year old told us : « I am not a hero, just an honest soldier »

Voici les corrections ou améliorations que tu peux apporter à ton texte traduit:
1) "The amazing story of JC", ou bien " JC's amazing story", mais pas "the amazing JC story".
2) " JC grew up in York, Great-Britain."
3) "In 1942, at the age of twenty, he enlistS"
4) "he has to bring a commando TO"
5) "Unfortunately, he was captured there by the Nazis"
6) "to the same camp as Holly"
7) Là précise peut-être que "he tried a first escape" inclut Holly : "After 3 weeks of preparationS, he tried to escape with Holly."
8) "They were caught AFTER three hours of run"
9) "FROM where they managed to escape"

Voilà, avec ces modifications, ton texte sera parfait. Si j'ai souvent changé les mots des phrases, c'est parce que tu as utilisé des structures qui ne fonctionnent pas en anglais. Ce n'est pas forcément des fautes grammaticales.
